DESCRIPTION:Michal will be collaborating with Ayke Agus\, pianist and violinist. \nOur concert will include an exciting variety of repertoire from Francoeur\, Casadesus\, Popper\, Glazunov\, Chopin and Beethoven\, as well as more TBD! A melodic journey through time’s most beloved cello and piano compositions. Many years ago\, I had the privilege of studying with William Pleeth\, who was Jacqueline du Pré’s cello teacher. His main message to me was that the mastery of the cello is all about developing the skill of listening before anything else. In his words\, “God is Ears”. This inspired all of my subsequent practice sessions.
